<Fumon-in Main Hall>
The main hall of the Tōshō-gū Shrine, built in the early Edo period, was acquired from the head temple during the Meiji era and relocated here.
The Tokugawa family crest painted on the ceiling is a must-see!
◎Morning services are held in the main hall from 6:30 AM the following morning.
◎Prayers and memorial services are also available.
<Garden>
The stone arrangement of the dry waterfall and other features are said to be the work of Lord Kobori Enshu, and it is considered the finest garden on Mount Koya.
<Tea Room>
There is a small room with a waiting area and a tsukubai (stone basin), and a larger room that can be used for multiple purposes.
*Tea ceremony utensils are available for rent. (Fee applies; consultation required)
