When we moved to Yakushima, the thing that impressed us the most was the "nature".

Forests, mountains, rivers, seas, sunrises, sunsets, starry skies, the Milky Way, rain, storms, rainbows, insects, animals.

All of these are close to us, beautiful, fun, frightening, and scary.

We feel like we know it, we feel like we see it, but we don't know it at all, we can't see it.

The nature of Yakushima teaches us that.
