"Second course/about 9 dishes" Simple vegetarian lunch

Lunch included

pre-payment

Online reservations are accepted up to three days in advance, so reservations after that time must be made by phone.

This lunch course includes about nine dishes, and you can enjoy our simple vegetarian cuisine.
*The content and number of dishes will change depending on the season and availability.
*The photo is an example.

Vegetarian cuisine has been passed down along with the long history of Koyasan.

Vegetarian cuisine has been passed down to the present day using the five cooking methods (raw, boiled, grilled, fried, steamed), five flavors (soy sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar, spicy), and five colors (red, blue, black, yellow, white).
At the temple lodgings, we serve banquet cuisine called "fumiryori," which was served after monks' ceremonies.

Healthy cuisine made with plenty of vegetables, seaweed, beans, and wild vegetables is gentle on the mind and body. Since it does not use fishy ingredients such as meat or fish, it can be enjoyed by vegetarians and vegans.

[Notes]

In order to ensure that guests staying at our temple can enjoy their meals safely, we have established the following food allergy regulations. Please take the time to read them.

All meals at our hospital are vegetarian, so we do not use any animal ingredients (including dashi).

We do not use any of the five pungent vegetables, such as green onions, onions, chives, garlic, or shallots, which have a strong smell or pungent taste.

●About allergies

Our hospital will only accommodate allergy-related meals for those who actually have allergies.

We are very sorry, but if you are not allergic (due to food preferences, etc.), we cannot accommodate your request, so please leave the food at the end of your meal.

●About soy allergies

Condiments such as soy sauce and miso also contain soybeans. We use such condiments in most of our dishes. Please note that if you have a soy allergy, the meals will be quite simple.

●About wheat allergies

We have a gluten-free menu for those with wheat allergies or chronic conditions such as celiac disease.

For that reason, please choose the gluten-free vegetarian lunch plan.

● Regarding seasonings and severe allergies
If you have any allergies to seasonings (soy sauce, sugar, salt, etc.) or severe allergies, we may not be able to accommodate you, so please contact us as soon as possible.
In addition, our hospital only has one kitchen, so we cannot prepare a separate kitchen for allergy-related purposes. Therefore, we recommend that people with severe allergies bring their own meals if possible.

Since we have to purchase and prepare ingredients, if you have a food allergy, please contact us at least one week in advance.
Please note that we may not be able to accommodate if you contact us after that time.
