■About the "Otaka Poppo"
This auspicious wooden carved hawk toy is a tradition of Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture.
It is crafted using the traditional "Sasano Ittobori" carving technique, which involves carving soft koshiabura wood with a single, unique blade.
The beautiful, overlapping curls on the feathers and their gentle colors have long been beloved as talismans and lucky charms for business prosperity.

In this plan, you'll paint a pure white "Otaka Poppo" (hawk poppo) to your heart's content.
