There are 3 types: "KURA", a renovated storehouse; "SAKURA", overlooking the garden and cherry blossoms; and "YAMAGATA", featuring a collection of Yamagata crafts.

All rooms have a simple design that prioritizes "relaxation".

Twin rooms are the basic type, but 2-6 people can stay by using an extra bed.

Smoking is prohibited on the premises, including the terraces of the rooms. Please refrain from smoking anywhere except the smoking area outside the main entrance.

■The meals are based on natural and local gastronomy.

Enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients such as vegetables and seasonal fruits from local producers, wild plants, mushrooms, and vegetables from snow rooms.

Enjoy Yamagataza Takinami's "only here, now" cuisine, which uses seasonal ingredients and chefs' delicious arrangements. Please inform us of any allergies at least two days before your stay.

You can enjoy the lively atmosphere unique to Yamagata. Coffee and other drinks are available free of charge in the lounge during your stay. After 21:00, it is bar time. It is self-service, but you can enjoy whiskey and other drinks for free. Akayu Onsen also has four public baths, and is famous as a grape-producing region, with four historic local wineries. Within walking distance is Eboshiyama Park, famous for its cherry blossoms. We also recommend taking a leisurely stroll through Akayu Onsen. You can also try paragliding (advance reservations required) at Jubunichiyama, a five-minute drive away.
